I. UNDP 워크숍 개최 배경 및 개요

1. 개최 배경

최근 국제개발목표 달성을 위한 개발원조의 한 방법(modality)으로서 개도국간 기술을 공유하고 그 잠재적 개발 재원을 극대화하기 위한 남남협력의 중요성이 강조되어 왔다. 이러한 흐름과 함께 2003.12.23일 UN은 매년 12.19일을 UN 남남협력의 날(UN Day for South-South Cooperation) 로 천명하였으며, 남남협력은 개도국뿐 아니 라선진 경계권을 아우르는 국계사회의 공통 관심 과제로 논의되고 있다.
