1. 설립 목적

한민족복지재단(회장: 김형석)은 1991년 ‘사랑 의 의료품 나누기’ 를 모체로 1997년 2월 3일 외교 통상부 등록재단법인으로 출범하였습니다. 인도적 대북지원을 통해 민족 화해를 실천하고 있으며, 국 내외와 북한의 소외 계층 어린이를 돕고 도움이 필 요한 지구촌 곳곳에 지원활동을 펼치고 있습니다. 2005년 1월에는 UN ECOSOC(유엔 경제사회이 사회)에 ‘특별협의지위’ 로 등록되어 활동 중인 한 국의 대표적인 NGO단체입니다.
