1. 일본

■ 동북부 지역 도로개발을 위해 40백만불 추가 지원 확정

– 일본은 스리랑카 동북부 지역의 도로개발을 위해 40백만불을 추가 지원키로 함

– 금번 지원분 외에 일본은 이미 쓰나미 피해 지역 복구를 위하여 180백만불(차관 100만 불, 무상원조 80백만불)을 지원한 바 있음.

• 차관 지원 내용 : 연이율 0.75%, 상환기관 40년의 지원조건으로 쓰나미 피해지역의 인프라 개발 및 Central Bank에서 쓰나미 피해 중소영세 기업들을 위해 마련한 Susahana Loan Scheme 지원

• 무상원조 지원 내용 : 수산분야(27%), 도로개발 분야(21%), 교육분야 (20%), 기타(식수, 위생시설, 보건의료, 주택 및 전기 등)
