Ⅰ. 월드비전 소개

월드비전은 1950년 한국전쟁 당시 고아와 미망인 을 돕기 위해 미국인 선교사 밥 피어스 목사와 한경 직 목사에 의해 설립되었다. 한국에서 첫 사업을 시작한 월드비전은 지난 반세기 동안 전쟁과 기근, 질 병 등으로 고통받는 지구촌 이웃들을 위해 활동해왔 고 현재 세계 최대의 기독교 구호 및 개발 NGO(직원: 2만 2천 명, 예산 : 미화 15억 달러)로 성장, 전 세계 100여 개국에서 1억 명의 수혜자들을 대상으로 긴급 구호, 지역개발, 옹호사업 등을 펼치고 있다.
